This blog will cover the issues about relationships from a third person point of view, mixed in from a perspective on an autistic individual on what are the various types of relationships (mostly on romance and love), why are there roadblocks and why can’t people not understand the complexity of the various degrees of relationships. This blog will try to unravel such complexity with no intention to have 100% solution. This blog is intended to have an open dialogue, with users having the ability to comment, but I do not expect people to comment ether. Various stories will be posted several times during the month given my current schedule of posting content to my network of blogs.
Target Objectives
Now lets focus the generics issues to a micro point of view, these target objectives are the “little things”. These include:
- How to sort out what kinds of “relationships” exist:
- family, parents, siblings, cousins
- friendships, and how to figure out the hierarchy with “mutual friends” vs. “close friends” v.s. BFFs, etc.
- What defines acquaintances, “familiar faces”, “friends” professional relationships
- Perspectives from what I see as an individual, basing such analysis from “people watching”, looking at Facebook profiles, and simple profiling of people and their relationships from a naked eye
- Has the mass media such as reality shows or fictional movies and TV programs have caused a point to destroying relationships?
- Has the culture changed in the last couple to few decades causing destruction to society in friendships, relationships or families?
- Is there “mixed messages” being taught at the high school level such as health lessons that focuses on relationships? Are these “mixed messages” just adding kerosene to the fire for unnecessary issues?
- Are people with ASD afraid of expanding their social circle due to unnecessary teaching about socializing?
- Is love really a bad thing for people with autistic disorders and all the experts are masking that they can have a potential, but like I said, its really a smoke in the mirrors?
I will be focusing more on romantic and sexual relationships while focusing on friendships as well. I might be focusing on the former because its something I have been missing since I became a teenager.
