Editorial Policy

Formally Published Summer 2024

There was never a formal and explicit policy on the editorial content on this or any of the other platforms until 2024. The policies are simple and easy to understand to see what you expect from me and how most sane people would expect to interpret my content.

No Discussion of Family. Since the start, there was a zero-tolerance policy to talk about my family or identify them. They preferred the experiences not to be shared. Or be fairly criticized. Also, I didn’t want to have them find where I was. I was in denial for nearly 8 years of the inital publications. My mother was familiar to the Hopeless Autistic writings early on, however I’ve tried for remain fair as I struggle of the load of the You’re-Only-Happy-as-Your-Happiest-Child as I am her only child.

If Discussing Family, Stay above the line from the others. Platforms like the Age of Autism really has stayed on a shallow level talking about the worse of their non-consenting child’s world without comment or editorialization, or revisions. I always felt, that talking about the child’s worst deficit as the worse injustice was beyond appropriate

Despite sharing a lot here, and on either the YouTube or Facebook fan-page, it should be reminded that those content is a mere snapshot of my life and often those posts are not in real time and are often on a delay.

No Personable identifiable information: My exact details such as PII will never be shared to anyone. Many geotagged posts are on intentional delays from the actual time of where I’d be.

We do not name-names: To avoid the appearance of inciting discourse, only rarely do I identify people by name.

I get my intel through trusted sources, that I will identify as “sources familiar to the manner”

In the earlier days of my blog, sometimes significant changes to the narrative often had a “EDIT V. [x]” where the “x” represented the version changing. To prevent future confusion, any major edits have editorial notes on the top of every post.

Lastly while this many sound cliche to ol local media editorial pieces “The Views and Opinions are my own only and not of those who I had or are affiliated with”

While I do not play a lawyer at all, my understanding of the First Amendment is to express a freedom of speech, to play the member of the press when it warrants as a way to inform the general public around me of what is going on in the hopes that the unnamed people are held to account. As they say with freedom should come with some responsibility.
