Canceled: The Museum of Telephony

Do you know that I have over 106 telephony devices related to or connected to The Museum of Telephony? A vast majority of them came from a specific follower. While I am blessed that I didn’t really spend a lot for The Museum, I decided, not less than ten years after it’s anniversary to pull the plug. Do I burn all my old telephones? No, I will be doing some liquidation soon.

This was just on this realization of a monster I created. I have discussed this previously, but not to the extent of what I am writing. As you can tell from The Weekly Zoo appearances, that I do not like men. Worse is I hate masculinity. Men who don’t lack detail, men who have no sensitivity (guess that’s all “woke” shit) and men don’t know how to be assertive. (My therapist realized my hate could only be 99.99999% of them because he’s male.)

Regardless I thought I was acquired a community of white nationalists, hard right conservatives, men over the age of 45 living south of the Mason-Dixon line, and I thought I was feeding the wrong audience.

For the first five years, TMOT was non social at all. In late 2016 into 2018 I had built up the Facebook fan page and the Instagram page for it. These two portals helped the SEO that made my own creation a highly searched subject on the major search engines. In fact there is a dirty little secret. I thought I could find my dream girl through the Facebook fan page to get a girl, a female between 25-34 in some urban locale to only find out that backfired.

I still think Facebook (now Meta) knew too much of my ideals, and for me to get the target demo would require me to pay them.

I thought there was slightly more females in telecom, from the managerial machinery perspective, but regardless it’s was mostly an old audience of right-wingers that were men, who lacked empathy, lacked the human element (hell there was a reason why iTheme 2 was there from the beginning), lacked understanding, they were just there for the toys not me.

This week, as I had came across one of the remaining Facebook groups I wasn’t kicked out because some man got in the way of my tolerance, a pretentious dude, was telling someone who was wiring a 1A2 Key telephone “wrong”. So I called him out using the phrase “FFS” and then I got the actual f-bomb thrown back at me and calling me “woke” when the intention was not political. But it’s not a man who thinks talking shit with complete raw and unfiltered is apparently all perfect.

My last words was “fuck them before they fuck you” as another person was flagging an admin to intervine.

It’s just as bad as TCI, OpenVMS groups, and other male dominated online groups. It’s fitting that child molesting sysadmins tend to thrive in online communities because their apathy, sociopathic natures is no different than in their cube farms.

I pulled the plug, made the Instagram account private (as an archive) and the TMOT Facebook is “unpublished” (the fan-page equivalent to deactivated.) The reasoning for unpublishing is to extrapolate the tons of data, in events like the Storytime posts of late 2019 showcasing my vulnerable side, was a turnoff to the boys who wanted more toys. When I would loose my cool in spring of 2020, less people were interested. I never got a female to like the page since January.

I am so done with The Museum, and it was great for it’s time. Now it’s time for me to move on and be in a more-inclusive world, but don’t say that to the PBX patch cord dudes, they love to just trash AOC on their civilian Facebook profiles and trash other’s that don’t think like them.

And I say, FUCK YOU.
