Springing into Parental Affection, Validation and Affirmation

Here in the States, Mother’s Day is on the 2nd Sunday in May and Father’s Day is the 3rd Sunday in June. What leads up is the Autism inAwareness Month, while I avoid to sound like a broken record, so called “autism parents” get not just May or June some love, but April in general. I sometimes wonder if this is intentional.

Sexual Harrassment Training

Yes, I’m going to cover my sex harassment class on this blog.
I had actively had an IT services business up until last July. I had to shut it down (i.e. find a real paying job) since I couldn’t function with no business.
Regardless, I still on an occasion do stuff.
But my IT services business is typically sitting down and doing terminal work such as active directory, domains, and other server related stuff. I do get down on my hand and knees sometimes when a ProLiant craps out for whatever reason.
So I consider my business as corporate class. As such, I often do annual things like creating my own Acceptable Usage Policies or AUP to connect to my own network, and sometimes sign other forms like that quarterly and other things you would expect in a corporation.
So as such, I’m going to watch an online presentation and sign off after the fact.
Now I can’t speak to the normal people but in my high school, before the sex ed lessons began, we had to start off  with a sexual harassment video. (We didn’t sign forms unlike my company.)
For whatever reason, special needs people, whether or not they did something “creepy” in the past or what, we were treated as the same.
Here is a few pointers:

  • Whether or not it was intentional or not, it is illegal to harass in a sexual nature
  • Using various phrases can be illegal
  • touching in a spot that someone could be offended is wrong
  • You can look, but you can’t touch someone
  • Hugging should be limited
  • If you want to kiss a single stranger, ask first! Never Push!
  • I believe public displays of affection is wrong, and considered as sexual harrassment
  • Since I am a contractor, I can’t go and give out contact to a prospective customer, as that could be considered as soliciting for a date business relationship
  • Hostility can be very serious, if someone is witnessing (whether its at work or in the public domain) behavior like PDA or other harassing behaviors that could cause threat or harm to the couple or the harasser, it can be bad. Examples like quitting a job, blackmail or even wanting to commit suicide.
  • Such practices should extend to electronic services such as online sites, Facebook and other social media services.

Again in closing, not intended to harass people is not the point.  Sexual Harassment, or just plain embarrassment is that ones perception is the reality. Perception is Reality. Whether or not it was intentional or not, it is illegal to harass in a sexual nature
I hope you are well trained and you sign your annual form that you had been in training and you are now in compliance with corporate policies and state and local laws!

You Call This non Sexist?

I really don’t want to give CNN, Anderson Cooper, or Kathy Griffin (whoever the hell that broad is) any more attention. But since I have discussed sexism on a number of occasions), here is the TV-MA segment on the New Years Eve coverage on CNN, the Cable [No] News Network

Victoria’s Secret’s Redefinition of “Love”

This world is falling apart. Maybe the Mayans were wrong. But our morals, ethics and standards may be at the end. I’m talking about Victoria’s Secret. Since The Limited has owned this entity for over a decade, they have lowered the social standards for America. Outside of the states, maybe people admire them for the beauty, but here in America they have lowered the standards and have made sex the new norm just like kissing and hugging are – yes sex is now in the lowest common nominator for affection!
This ad campaign they use during the Christmas holidays makes me sick. Watch it on YouTube (sinee VS prohibits embeds)
Tell me that you love me!
Why?
Are you desperate?
Do you mean that you want me to “fuck” you or sincerely like to fuck you?
Are you implying that that you are trying to seduce me?
To be quite blunt, seduce me any other time of the year!

“Boys are Stupid”…Some Lefties say “Throw Rocks at them!”

If people don’t know already why I don’t have a girlfriend..
…Its because I am stupid! (according to the feminist groups!)
This full screen graphic shows thanks to the Liberals for delaying the progress of HFAs due to their reversed sexism with the infamous picture of "boys are stupid throw rocks at them"
Well according to this image I am! I am autistic, and come off as a lost boy at times, so why shouldn’t I be surprised!
Remember earlier on, I mentioned the MySpace bumper sticker entitled “Boys are Stupid…Throw Rocks at Them!”? Turns out it actually is a tee-shirt that actually has a Wikipedia entry and is classified as “Violence Against Men”
Here is an executive summary from the Wikipedia page:

“Boys are stupid, throw rocks at them!” is a slogan on a T-shirt by Florida clothing company David and Goliath. The slogan is printed next to a cartoon image of a boy running away from five stones flying in his direction. People magazine ran a story on the T-shirt, opening with a quote from a then 10 year-old girl, “I want to make boys feel bad because it’s fun.”[1]

Additional information from the Wikipedia entry claims the following

“The T-shirt was designed by company founder Todd Goldman, who started David and Goliath in 1999 with “Boys are Smelly” T-shirts. It now features clothes with a variety of slogans, such as “Boys tell lies, poke them in the eyes!” or “The stupid factory, where boys are made”. “Boys are stupid …” has evolved into a successful object for merchandise, which includes all types of clothes, mugs, key chains, posters and other items. Critics argue that the simple mainstream acceptance of such material is evidence of a deeper and underlying culture of contempt and hatred towards men in Western society, asserting that a book of similar design that targeted a different group (such as Blacks, Jews, or women) would not be treated with such tolerance.[6]  The slogan has also been criticized by Bernard Goldberg in his book, 100 People Who Are Screwing Up America, where Todd Goldman, the shirts’ creator, was listed as number 97.

Some other bloggers about the subject of “relationships” might skew to the liberal, but I skew to the conservative. This “Boys are Stupid” was a product of the left, and opposition came from the right for rightful reasons. Its an utter shame that we have people in society that degrade women, but we also have MEN that degrade their own gender – COMING from the SAME group that’s all for “tolerance”!
I am not getting into a political discussion, as I just did the research on this after looking up the picture to use. I never knew the history prior to writing this. Now I feel much reassured that this was (since this was almost a decade ago) a liberal attack against males, boys and or men. Unforutnetly, I as a male with a disability have been abused by the malicious, childish, reckless and careless liberal people in this society.
Its a shame that this was even done to begin with. Goldman should be sent to hell.
